Umpy's report from Chicago show #1

A little delayed as we were down there as well (my 2 day summary to come), here is the latest installment of Umpy's Report from the first show in Chicago.

Bruce and us blew into the Windy City the other night for the first of 2 shows in Chicago.

Chicago is a great city. There is lots of sightseeing including spectacular architecture, shopping and attractions to keep you busy before a show.

The biggest news of the first show was that Patty was not present as she had 'kids stuff" to deal with. Soozie took her spot on stage and replaced her vocals during Magic. Your Own Worst Enemy was performed in the Town Called Heartbreak spot.

Both Bruce and the crowd were great. The crowd was the most engergetic that I have seen yet.

Highlights included great versions of Backstreets and Cadillac Ranch.
During Cadillac a rubber chicken was thrown on stage from the PIT. I assume that was a request for Atlantic City.

Next up, a taping of the Jerry Springer show followed by Bruce's second performance tonight.

By the way, last call for alcohol in Chicago is at 4:30 am...
