Springsteen sells out in 8 minutes: Updated

This should put to rest the concern over ticket availability...it's going to be tough to get them! Belfast sold out in 8 minutes!

"Thousands of fans were left disappointed after it took just eight minutes for the Odyssey Arena tickets costing £49 and £60 to be snapped up."
From BBC News.

UPDATED: Here is another article about the sellout in Belfast -- focusing on the irate fans and the fact that tickets appeared on Ebay minutes after the sellout at 3 or 4 times the face price. This is an astounding statistic:
"The concert in fact sold out in eight minutes, which equates to over 20 tickets per second and more than 1,000 per minute."
Pretty unbelievable...literally.

I think its totally unbelievable. We had no chance to get tickets when they were on sale the night before on Ebay. bigpop-tickets being able to sell 6 tickets and rjm2908 being able to able to sell 10. The general sale was limiting people to 4 per person. Questions need answered by Ticketmaster. There is no way that 10,000 tickets sold out in 7mins. There was only 16 tickets for sale at Cool Discs in Foyle Street, one of 23 Ticketmaster outlets in the province. Its a disgrace.

Agreed. We haven't seen anything in North America yet but I've been online the moment the tickets go on sale and stuck with tickets in the 300's. But to have only 16 tickets left at a physical location? NEVER heard something like that...Something's up.

You should absolutely check the BTX for tickets.
