An offer he COULD refuse!

This is why we all have a deep affinity for Bruce Springsteen. He didn't play live earth, he doesn't have a custom IPOD, he won't participate in American Idol, he hasn't done a Chevy commercial and now we find out he has continually refused to lend his likeness to the Simpsons.

Some people would say by not doing all these things he is limiting his exposure but I'm pretty sure the fans he would gain would pale in comparison to the fans that would lose respect for him for selling out.
